Music education is an integral part of the school curriculum and the wider life of every school community.

The SCOTTISH ASSOCIATION FOR MUSIC EDUCATION exists to support all colleagues of the profession in their committed and passionate teaching. In this spirit, SAME is endorsing and issuing guidelines on safe practices for class and individual music teaching and learning, in addition to providing resources for teachers, pupils, parents and community groups.
